Rethinking Economics Kraków

The goal of our group is to popularise pluralism in economics by facilitating the discussion on pluralist approaches both within and outside the academic circles. We believe that orthodox economics does not provide us with a sufficient framework to explain the phenomena present in the economy. Therefore, we see the inclusion of alternative approaches as a vital effort for the better understanding of social sciences and the more adequate policy making. To achieve our goal, we host biweekly open seminars in Kraków, which enables us to create a community concerned with issues that are neglected in the economic mainstream. Outside of the seminars, we aim to share pluralist material through social media and organise bigger events addressed to a wider audience.
