Tel Aviv University Economics Student Forum
The Tel-Aviv University Economics Student Forum was established in order to challenge the narrow perceptions of the curriculum taught at the university’s school of economics. We focus on expanding the tools provided to students and stimulating a critical dialogue between the classroom and the real world economy.
Our group works to expose all economics students to major issues in the Israeli economy by inviting guest lecturers from the academic world, politics, business and government. In addition, the Forum promotes a curriculum reform, and strives to create a more critical and relevant approach to the teaching of economics.
The Tel-Aviv University group is a part of the Israeli Economics Student Forum and operates in collaboration with similar forums in Israel’s leading universities. The national Forum is a platform for joint projects, and serves as a representative voice for Israeli students at the international Student Initiative for Pluralism in Economics (ISIPE) and Rethinking Economics.
