Rethinking Economics Pakistan

We aim for this group to be the national chapter in Pakistan for Rethinking Economics. Our plans for future initiatives so far include, but are not limited to, organizing research panel events with a diverse range of academics that approach economics issues from a multidisciplinary standpoint (including fields of economics such as feminist economics, urban economics, etc; those that don’t usually get focused on in discourse), working at a grassroots level to bridge a disconnect between students and public policy work, working to reform economics curriculum in the way it is taught at universities in Pakistan, and also producing thought leadership in the form of digital content (blogs, podcasts, think-pieces, etc) which emphasizes a holistic view of the discipline.
